Freuds' corporate chief in shock exit

Lisa Attenborough has quit Freud Communications less than six weeks after she was hired to lead its corporate practice.

She took on a newly created role before Christmas having spent three years heading Marks & Spencer's corporate comms team (PRWeek, 8 Dec 2005). In a statement, Freuds said she had left by 'mutual agreement'.

Attenborough declined to comment and it is not known whether she has a job to go to.

Freuds said it was hunting a replacement, plus other senior
executives to work in its corporate business team, whose clients include Digital UK.

Attenborough's exit came as Freuds this week appointed Nicola Howson – an ITV director of communications for five years – to its board with responsibility for generating media clients and its BSkyB account.
