CONSUMER Wyevale Garden Centres - Britain’s largest garden centre group with 114 stores -has hired Trimedia Communications to handle trade and consumer PR. The brief was formerly held by M3 Communications.

AGENCY REBRAND Leeds agency Blueprint PR this month rebranded as JDA PR. The move follows the agency's joining of comms group JDA two years ago. Susie Lawrence has joined as PR director to replace Patricia Lennon.

AGENCY MERGER Two of Ireland's best-known PR firms - Heneghan Public Relations and Park Communications - have merged. The combined Dublin-based company - to be known as Heneghan PR - will be run by Nigel Heneghan, with Park founder Sean O'Riordain on the board.

TECH IT services company Conchango has hired Firefly Communications, ending a five-year relationship with Lewis PR. Lewis picked up the account for Conchango rival Avanade last month.

PrivatSea is targeting UK lifestyle coverage to allure the super-rich. The aim of the campaign is to attract 'a certain type' of millionaire aided by a strict screening process.
ONLINE MARKETING Fleming Media's second book in the 'Young Bond' series, written by The Fast Show's Charlie Higson, is being promoted by Cake. The agency is creating an 'online community' to which Young Bond: Blood Fever readers will be directed. The website will include online adventures related to the book.

CONSUMER Revolver Communications has landed the UK consumer and trade PR contract for Monkhill Confectionary brand Butterkist popcorn. The brief includes promoting Butterkist's branded tie-in with cartoon show The Simpsons and a country-wide sampling tour. Monkhill Confectionary wants its brand to be associated with nights-in and DVDs, rather than cinema visits.
