Edelman’s Bailey leaves tech post

Edelman technology director Imogen Bailey has quit the firm after four and a half years without a job to go to.

Bailey, who joined Edelman from Cisco in 2002 to run its technology team, said she was 'taking time out'.

Bailey's departure comes just three months after Edelman appointed Weber Shandwick technology director Jonathan Hargreaves to the newly created role of technology MD reporting to Edelman London CEO Stuart Smith (PRWeek, 30 September 2005).

Although Bailey ran the European technology team in charge of the firm's Microsoft account, her main accounts included Orange and SSA Global.

Prior to joining Edelman, Bailey was at Cisco Systems for five years, latterly as EMEA manager of executive comms
