Press releases in divine intervention

PR has been described as many things in its time, but rarely the path to divine enlightenment.

But now Canada-based WDC Media, which describes itself as an 'industry leader in Christian media relations', is aiming to change that by launching its own press release distribution newswire. Heaven-bent on providing 'PR with a higher purpose', the firm has identified the mainstream media as 'an extremely important tool for Christ', and has set up an online service to spread the word using the divine and righteous powers of customisable search categories and media contact filters.

WDC Media founder Susan Zahn tells The Christian Post she is on a mission to feed the 'rise in evangelical communications'.

Diary was unaware of such a phenomenon, but will be keeping a lookout in 2006 for press releases headed: 'What would Jesus do?'
