Reputation monitor: Vodafone’s value dips as loo-roll victory aids Asda

Vodafone’s share price fell 11 per cent last week, sending the mobile phone firm to the foot of PRWeek’s Reputation Monitor.

It was also a bad week for high-protein diet company Atkins. British Heart Foundation scientists claimed its eating regimes could damage the heart – three years after creator Robert Atkins died of a heart attack.

Meanwhile, Asda was named by the ASA as home to the UK's 'softest, thickest and most absorbent' toilet paper brand after a dispute with Andrex. The ruling was made this week after tests were carried out following a complaint made by the maker of Andrex
about an advert.

Reputation Monitor is compiled from Thomson Intermedia's National News Index, a measure of media sentiment that excludes stock market reports and passing mentions.
