AGENCY Weber Shandwick UK consumer MD Sally Ward has been promoted to the newly created post of Europe vice-chairman. Ward moves after four years in her existing post. Consumer director Scott Wilson becomes UK consumer MD.

CONSUMER Online payment platform Ukash is using Trimedia Communications to launch its service. Ukash lets consumers pay for goods and services online by using vouchers instead of credit or debit cards.

brought in Golley Slater to handle consumer work after a three-way pitch. The Park Group manages gift voucher schemes for 75 high-street retailers, including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Thomas Cook.

CONSUMER Garden tools group Atco-Qualcast Bosch has taken on Brave PR to handle consumer and trade comms after a four-way pitch. The incumbent, Derby's Paskett PR, held the account for 15 years. Golley Slater was recently hired to handle comms for rival brand Flymo (PRWeek, 2 September).

CONSUMER Last-minute gift website thedoghouse.co.uk is using Mantra PR to handle a pre-Christmas consumer push.
