College Hill wins canal job

College Hill is preparing a campaign to attract investment for the country’s 2,000 miles of canals and rivers.

The 2006 London Boat Show in January will mark the start of the campaign, the latest in a series of initiatives by British Waterways to attract private investment.

British Waterways has also encouraged waterside pubs and businesses to sign up to a government-endorsed strategy to make the network self-sufficient. It hopes investors will be attracted by an increase in the use of waterways.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch (PRWeek, 30 September).
