Buckby firm nabs Nye as consultant
Andrew Nye, chief press officer at the Attorney General’s Office, is quitting after just six months to join Champollion, the issues management consultant founded by ex-Britain in Europe campaign chief Simon Buckby.
Nye joins next week as senior consultant, providing media counsel for a range of undisclosed clients.
'At the Attorney General's Office I've dealt with the media on controversial issues such as non-jury trials in some complex fraud cases, and Iraq,' said Nye.
Buckby has also hired Angela Cooke, ex-Daily Express deputy features editor, in a similar capacity to focus on the tabloid press.
Buckby left Luther Pendragon to start Champollion two months ago (PRWeek, 9 September).
