Pensions brief for Media Strategy

Cass Business School, part of London’s City University, has drafted in Media Strategy to establish it as an authority on the pensions debate in the business and policy-making communities.

The hire comes ahead of the widely anticipated Turner Review on pensions, due on 30 November.

Cass has undertaken extensive research on the impact of Adair Turner's expected proposals to tackle Britain's pensions crisis, which include raising the retirement age.

Media Strategy corporate partner Scott Learmouth said it was targeting an array of media with the research, which will be
followed by a 'stakeholder engagement programme' aimed at groups such as the Institute of Directors, the CBI and age charities.

Cass wants ultimately to boost applicant numbers by bolstering its reputation. Media Strategy was appointed on a 12-month contract after a competitive pitch.
