The charities, which will be chosen by a panel of judges, will benefit from WS's contacts, experience and manpower as part of the firm's second Charity Challenge in association with The Media Trust.
'It's more focused this year,' said WS head of CSR and panel judge Brendan May. 'We want charities to come to us with a specific idea, so that we are just implementing it.'
Charities are eligible if they lack a full-time comms team and have a turnover of less than £2m.
Last year WS worked with Bully-Free Zone, Community Forests Northwest and the National Endometriosis Society.
Charities can apply at www.mediatrust.org.
