Parent company Regent Inns struggled last year after the industry was hit by a fall in sales. But the arrival of ex-Scottish & Newcastle chief Bob Ivell as executive chairman sparked a cost-cutting drive and a boost in profits.
Regent has brought in Van Communications to target Jongleurs' core market of 18 to 45-year-olds.
Van already handled consumer PR for Regent's Walkabout chain, and replaces three-year incumbent Splash Editorial on the Jongleurs account.
It has also taken over Merlin's crisis brief across the Regent group, with Merlin now handling Regent's corporate PR.
