Asian golf facility in Euro campaign

SHENZEN, CHINA: The world’s biggest golf complex, Mission Hills in China, has hired a London agency to boost its European profile.

Four Gritti Sports Marketing & Sponsorship is aiming to attract prestigious international golf tournaments to Mission Hills. It will also flag up how its other facilities, such as tennis courts, would be useful to squads training for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The development of Mission Hills reflects the growth of the Chinese economy – and the country's burgeoning middle class. Construction of Mission's first golf course began in 1994.
