BBC radio’s Caley shifts to Chrysalis

Commercial radio group Chrysalis has poached BBC Radio One and 1Xtra PR chief Nick Caley as head of publicity.

Caley worked in radio publicity at the BBC for five years, and for Radio 1 and 1Xtra since January.

A replacement is yet to be found. He reported to head of press for radio Sue Lynas and Radio 1 controller Andy Parfitt.

At Chrysalis, Caley reports to radio CEO Phil Riley. He replaces Huw Davies, who left for a career break after five years at the organisation.

Caley will work across Chrysalis's four stations, Heart, Galaxy, LBC and The Arrow. He heads a three-strong in-house consumer PR team.
