London libraries push for readers

The London Libraries Development Agency (LLDA) is working with The Idea Generation to encourage more residents to use their local library.

The Idea Generation will handle the campaign, 'Get London Reading', next year to promote the capital as an international centre for books and encourage people to use the LLDA website.

Targeting London print and broadcast media, the campaign will promote reading groups, libraries' specialist biography sections and workshops to teach creative writing.

The Idea Generation also plans to publicise a range of Chinese literature – both in the original Cantonese and English translations – available at London libraries, under the banner 'Rooster Reads'.
