Thwaites signed up the Lancastrian all-rounder for a two-year deal promoting its Lancaster Bomber cask ale early this summer, before the Ashes. Flintoff's image has been used in on-pack sales promotions and advertising, and will now be used in PR.
Haslimann will target traditional, older ale drinkers and younger consumers, who may be interested in premium brands such as German lager Warsteiner.
The agency won the account after a four-way pitch.
