New Scientist set for consumer bid

Reed Business Information has drafted in Midnight Communications to broaden the consumer appeal of its flagship title New Scientist.

The agency is handling a PR drive to promote, the magazine's space news website.

It is also promoting the site's 'World's Best Space Science Fiction Works Ever' readership survey.

Mulberry PR is handling the US side of the campaign. Digital agency PlanetNewMedia is doing viral work.

Midnight works for other RBI titles including Computer Weekly, Travel Weekly and Farmers' Weekly.
