The move comes as the company revamps communications to cope with its expanded operations.
Forsyth marketing director Dennis Clegg said Bowers had taken the new role of PR manager. She will co-ordinate internal comms and Forsyth's relationships with agencies in six countries, including Lansons Communications in the UK.
'We have expanded a great deal in the past 12 months and need to make sure our internal comms is as strong as our external comms,' Clegg said.
He added that there would be no review of agencies in Switzerland, Hong Kong, South Korea, Dubai, South Africa and the UK. Forsyth manages around £3bn and in its advisory role assigns ratings to different funds.
Digital Look said it had scrapped Bowers' position.
