Beejay exits PDS for Prince’s Trust

Parkinson’s Disease Society (PDS) senior media officer Louisa Beejay has left after only four months to join the Prince’s Trust as PR manager.

She joined PDS in June from Breast Cancer Care. (PRWeek, 17 June). Beejay said she moved to the trust because she was offered a promotion and 'a chance to work on planning for the Prince's Trust's 30th anniversary next year'.

Part of a team of five, Beejay reports to head of comms Emma Langbridge and replaces Rachel Neame, who recently left to join fair trade and environment group  People Tree.

The Prince's Trust provides training, mentoring and financial assistance to 14 to 30-year-olds. On 17 October it is holding the fundraising Swarovski Fashion Rocks event in Monaco, featuring designers and bands from around the world.
