AS Biss on charity regulator brief

The Charity Commission has handed its public affairs account to AS Biss & Co.

The agency's brief is to enable the commission to have more influence in policy development and public debate on the role and future of charities.

The Charities Bill includes a new objective for the commission – to increase public trust in charities.

Weber Shandwick, Lexington Communications, LLM Communications and Hill & Knowlton were shortlisted for the newly created account, which had 14 expressions of interest.
