FVF loses media director

Venezuela's biggest soccer lobby Federacion Venezolana de Futbol is to lose its media relations director Nicolas Trincado, who is moving to sports media company Perfil Deportivo Producciones.

Trincado takes up the role of communications director in October, having been at the FVF since summer 2004.  The organisation has not yet confirmed his replacement, but is considering appointing public relations director Zaidsy Gousot to the role.  It currently handles all communications in-house.

Trinacado's departure comes at an inauspicious time for the FVF which will help promote the national team during upcoming World Cup qualification matches against Paraguay and Brazil on October 8 and 12.
