Both report to head of comms Yashoda Sutton, who said the hospital, an independent charity specialising in traumatic brain injuries, wanted to promote its work on a national scale and build its media profile outside the scientific community.
'We are known by the clinical audience, but not really by the public,' she said. 'That is something we need to change in order to increase donation revenue.'
Wilkinson is responsible for managing the charity's recently revamped website and running its schools programme. Wilson is handling media enquiries and general publicity for the charity.
