Bourne tops Packer Forbes’ spate of hires

Packer Forbes Communications (PFC) has hired a former Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) New Zealand marketer to become an associate director.

Pamela Bourne left MSD NZ – where she dealt with brands including Fosamax and Cozaar – in July after six years. She has also worked at Chandler Chicco Agency in New York.

She replaces Alisha Parr, who is joining CCA London as a consultant. Parr joined PFC in 2002 from Medicom.

At PFC, Bourne is promoting Eli Lilly and Boehringer Ingleheim's Cymbalta in the UK, and Actelion's hypertension drug Tracleer globally.

PFC has also hired ex-Resolute Communications account executive Annabel Lee as a senior account exec. She will work on Tracleer and Merck's hairloss treatment Propecia in the UK.

Kris Matta-Noaman has also joined as an account executive. He was formerly at Shire Health International.
