Opodo to stage corporate pitch

Online travel agent Opodo has unveiled a restructure of pan-European communications, following Spanish travel tech firm Amadeus's acquisition of the business in March.

The company is to appoint a European corporate agency to co-ordinate PR across the nine European markets in which Opodo operates.

The agency is in talks with four agencies for the corporate brief, which will be awarded by the middle of this month.

Opodo head of European comms Gail Sinden said it would conclude a separate review of its consumer account, which Trimedia Communications has held since 2001, this week.
