Voluntary Sector: Tommy's readies awareness week

Baby charity Tommy's has revamped its website and included a new 'media centre' section ahead of its major awareness week in early September.

The organisation's biggest campaign of the year centres around National Pregnancy Week (5-11 September). Press officer Nick Morgan said the new website had already generated interest for National Pregnancy Week from journalists who had used the site's 'campaigns' section.

Morgan said the charity was increasing all PR and marketing activity, and had also taken on two comms staff in the past six months.
