Edelman recruits Intel veteran in US

SILICON VALLEY: Edelman has poached former Intel vice-president of corporate comms Pam Pollace to be its global head of technology.

Pollace left the microchip giant on 1 May after 18 years. At Edelman she replaces Rich Moore, who quit the agency in 2004 after just seven months in the position.

Prior to her most recent role at Intel, Pollace was the company's V-P of corporate marketing responsible for branding, advertising, press relations and, in particular, the firm's ubiquitous Intel Inside campaign.

As global technology practice leader Pollace oversees Edelman's 200 technology specialists across 43 offices worldwide.
