So CBBC boss Alison Sharman told The Guardian, sparking a flurry of nostalgia about the storytelling institution that has been off-air for nine years.The Daily Telegraph reminisced fondly about the number of complaints generated by Rik Mayall's famously 'anarchic telling of Roald Dahl's George's Marvellous Medicine', while The Daily Mail dubbed Bernard Cribbins 'the King of Jackanory'for his 111 appearances - 42 more than nearest rival Kenneth Williams.
