Diary: Five targets PR for reality recruitment

First came Boss Swap, then Wife Swap and now The Interview - the latest TV documentary to point its lens at the world of PR.

The show, to be screened on Five early next year, is looking for a 'small to medium-sized PR firm that is struggling to recruit a senior member of staff' to feature in one of its six episodes. The producers will then team up the MD of that firm with a psychologist and a headhunter and film them as they sift through candidates.

Dan Marshall from production company Shine says candidates would be subjected to a series of written and practical tests as well as face-to-face interviews.

'The experts will be watching every aspect of the candidates' behaviour, right down to how they make the tea,' asserts Marshall.
