Voluntary Sector: Relate links up with Hampton Court garden show

Relationship counselling charity Relate is sponsoring a garden at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this week to raise awareness of its sex therapy services.

Media and PR officer Catherine Allen said the charity wanted to promote the fact that it is the largest provider of sex therapy in the UK, adding that 'an exhibit at the world's largest garden show was a great opportunity'.

The 'passion garden' has been designed by last year's Gardeners' World Live winners Catherine Morgan, Liz Lawrence, Sue Wright and Louise Carey.

Morgan said the team was inspired by the Festival of Gardens in Chaumont-sur-Loire, France, and approached Relate with the idea for a garden with an 'intimate, sensuous theme to appeal to outdoor lovers'.

Relate has also signed Tracey Cox from the BBC's Would Like to Meet... dating show to help representatives from the charity provide information to the public on sex therapy, couple counselling and family services at the garden.
