Real Crisps seeks 'big boy' status

Hand-cooked crisp maker Real Crisps has hired NRPR to position it as a 'big boy' in the sector and take on the likes of Kettle and Walkers.

The agency is handling projects to boost brand awareness among consumers as the Welsh challenger brand increases its distribution.

NRPR was set up earlier this year by celebrity publicist Neil Reading and former Beer Davies staffers Eddie Blower and Alaine Biggs (PRWeek, 9 February).

Biggs said: 'After establishing the brand in Wales and outlets in England they want to raise their profile across the UK.'
