Touch strives to lift media profile

Digital information provider Touch Group has drafted in Mantra PR to co-ordinate a charm offensive designed to take on rivals and Thomson Local.

The firm provides online business directories and advertising space through the Touch Local brand. Touch Local product development director Duncan Dunlop said Mantra was targeting local and regional print, radio and online media.

The agency will push the message that Touch's business search sites, based on 114 UK towns, are more useful than its single-site rivals.

Mantra will also promote Touch's online media products via trade and local press, and provide IR support.
