The agency wants Gordon to grow its IPO business in the UK in line with Europe. She will report to Morrison and co-founder Nick Miles.
'I think there is a great opportunity to provide added value in corporate communications, particularly in the UK, having sat on the other side of the fence as a board member,' she said.
Gordon left Chrysalis in December 2002 after eight years at the company.
She joined as director of corporate development and affairs from her previous role as media analyst at investment bank County Natwest.
Aged 28, she was the youngest female director of a public company when she joined Chrysalis.
Gordon is currently a non-executive director of publisher Future.
