B-M closes in on seafood contract

Burson-Marsteller is on the verge of sealing a consumer PR contract to promote Johnson Seafarms, a Shetland-based organically farmed cod pioneer.

B-M is to be confirmed as the firm's first PR agency in advance of an announcement - potentially next week - that Johnson has secured a major distribution deal with a national supermarket.

B-M brands and integrated marketing director Catherine Thorpe is to lead the account team for Johnson, which completed an MBO in April and is gearing up for a global sales offensive.
