Next Fifteen buys US rival OutCast

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Next Fifteen Communications has bought US technology shop OutCast Communications in a deal that could be worth as much as £7.2m over the next five years.

OutCast has offices in San Francisco and New York; its clients include Yahoo! and Dell. Next Fifteen finance director David Dewhurst said the company had been 'looking at OutCast with interest' for the past 18 months.

'We found we were competing against OutCast on a number of pitches,' he added.

OutCast will continue to be run by founders Caryn Marooney and Margit Wennmachers.
