The dog - 18-month-old Flying Frank, snapped up for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £1,000 - is already being promoted by his own blog. Meanwhile PRWeek has viewed an mpg file of his first competitive race, last week at Walthamstow, where he finished an impressive second.
On the blog - understood to be compiled with the assistance of account executive David Fraser, whose 'work stag do' triggered the agency's collective interest in greyhounds - Flying Frank tells us: 'I was born and bred in Ireland. I fit all the stereotypes of a young Irish male - I'm brash, like a Guinness, am up for the craic and go down a storm with the ladies.'
They don't hang around in the world of greyhound racing, it appears - Flying Frank's second race is the 8.39 this Saturday evening, with agency staffers hoping their mutt can bag a first-place finish.
