ELC selects JCPR to target 'gifters'

Children's toy retailer The Early Learning Centre (ELC) has switched its PR account from two-year incumbent Starfish Communications to Jackie Cooper Public Relations.

The move came after JCPR managed a three-month project for ELC's luxury sister brand Daisy & Tom last year (PRWeek, 19 November 2004).

JCPR will target mothers, grandparents and other 'gifters' via national newspapers and women's weeklies.

The account is led by associate director Karen Silverstein, reporting to ELC marketing director Tim Patten.
