City & Corporate: Gowers to speak at CIPR dinner

Financial Times editor Andrew Gowers is to speak at this year's CIPR Corporate and Financial group annual dinner.

Gowers, who has edited the FT since 2001, is to speak on 'the future of financial and business media' after the dinner, which is to be held on 24 November.

The CIPR's summer party is to take place on 22 June at media law firm Olswangs in High Holborn, where chairman Simon Brocklebank-Fowler will officially hand over to chairman-elect and WestLB corporate communications executive John Godfrey.

Godfrey was elected CIPR chair at the end of April (PRWeek, 29 April).
