Public Affairs: F-H opens shops for political style

Fleishman-Hillard has unveiled a global network of public affairs shops ready to carry out political-style campaigns for corporate clients.

Branded Vox Global Mandate, the service pulls together consultants from F-H in London and from three of its wholly owned lobbying consultancies across the US: GMMB in Washington DC, Allyn & Company in Dallas and Mercury Public Affairs in New York.

F-H regional director for Europe and South Africa Kevin Bell said: 'We have forged a team of the best political strategists, who between them have run 500 successful global campaigns.'

It will execute corporate PR campaigns as if they were political battles with clients treated like a candidate.

F-H's move comes after former campaign strategists for President Bush, Tucker Eskew and Matthew Dowd, launched a similar offering last week in Washington, branded Vianovo. They have teamed up with Blaine Bull and James Taylor, two founding members of international public affairs consultancy Public Strategies.
