Welcome Break in image revamp

Welcome Break has called in Golley Slater to improve the image of the motorway services firm in a bid to attract more upmarket customers.

The agency will position the chain as 'a great place to conduct business meetings' and emphasise the quality of its food and retail operations.

'Motorway services have been much maligned for years, probably rightly so,' said Welcome Break CEO Rod McKie.

'However, standards are improving - motorway services bashing needs to stop.'
