The move comes as the firm expands its colour range from two to eight products. The agency will emphasise that 'it has never been cheaper to produce colour documents in-house'.
Firefly will be expected to build awareness of the brand among SMEs as well as larger corporations.
It is the first time the firm has hired a consultancy to handle its communications at a European level.
'We plan to stress that the speed of colour production has improved dramatically, so you can get good quality, reliable colour copiers much cheaper,' said Konica Minolta European manager of marketing strategies and comms Robert Sethre.
The agency will also highlight the multi-functionality of Konica Minolta products, which scan and print as well as photocopy.
'In the past we have focused on trade publications.
'We want Firefly to develop our profile in mainstream newspapers and business publications,' added Sethre.
