Public Affairs: Labour's Pollard joins Edelman

Edelman has lured the head of the Labour Party's international office, Luke Pollard, to join it as an account manager in its public affairs practice.

Pollard has been seconded to the role since the start of the year and has arranged ministerial visits in London.

He has also been tasked with co-ordinating sister parties observing Labour's successful re-election campaign.

He was previously a researcher to former Labour ministers George Foulkes and David Jamieson.

Pollard will report to Edelman associate director of public affairs John Lehal.
