Pitch PR secures racing contract

Racing UK, the TV channel owned by 31 UK racecourses, has called in Pitch PR to boost its profile outside the racing press to help it 'maximise further commercial opportunities'.

The channel, which owns and markets its own media rights, wants to exploit its rights on platforms such as 3G phones and broadband internet. It has hired Pitch to handle corporate and trade PR.

The agency is charged with boosting Racing UK's profile beyond racing titles, targeting national newspapers' business journalists and trade media.
