Nicholas joined PRWeek in January 1996 as features editor and was promoted to deputy editor in 1997 and editor in 1998. As editor-in-chief, she managed the successful relaunch of PRWeek in January 2004.
In her new role, Nicholas will be involved in all areas of the publishing mix and the continued development of PRWeek and its associated products and events. Nicholas said: 'This is a fascinating, complex and constantly changing industry and I look forward to finding new and exciting ways to meet readers' information needs.'
Initiatives in the pipeline include a relaunch of prweek.com, new supplements examining specialist areas of the business and three new conferences for next year.
