Andrews will join as marcoms MD, leading what H&K claims is the 'largest UK marcoms offer', with 82 staff across teams including sport and consumer technology. Clients include Adidas, also a Ketchum client, Crookes Healthcare and B&Q.
H&K UK chief executive Marie-Louise Windeler described Andrews - expected to start around August - as a 'part-replacement' for Fiona Noble, who joined Freud Communications (PRWeek, 3 September 2004).
H&K plans to 'beef up' its marcoms division as part of a 'reorganisation', details of which were yet to be decided, said Windeler.
H&K already has two other marcoms MDs - Alison Eyles-Owen (expected to return from maternity leave in November) and Wendy Mair. Both will have roles, currently undetermined, in the revamped structure, said Windeler.
Andrews joined Ketchum in 2001 from ad giant Saatchi & Saatchi, where she ran its PR division. She formerly handled PR for The Disney Channel.
