Cairns picks Wilde for Timotei theme

Former pop star Kim Wilde has been unveiled as the new face of haircare brand Timotei as part of a summer brand marketing push promoted by Cairns & Associates.

Wilde, now a TV gardener and writer, is seen as personifying a campaign theme of 'rediscovering the simple pleasure of nature'.

She also appeals to the brand's target consumers of women in their 30s and 40s, said Cairns MD Jon Meakin.

The agency will promote a poll on outdoor living trends, while advertorials and regional events are also planned. The campaign is media relations based.
