Incepta merger given green light

Incepta shareholders have overwhelmingly backed the marcoms group's all-share merger with Huntsworth.

Huntsworth said last week that the merger had been declared unconditional after the holders of more than 82 per cent of Incepta's share capital approved the deal.

Although the number of shares returned in favour of the merger was still less than the 90 per cent initially required for the deal to go through, Huntsworth and Incepta later agreed to lower the threshold needed for unconditional approval.

Huntsworth is issuing £140m worth of shares as payment to Incepta shareholders.
