Public Sector: CM review backs Hull business bid

Hull University Business School has hired Communications Management to manage a consultation exercise as it prepares to move into new multi-million-pound premises.

The 12-month review will feature a series of focus groups with teachers and students, as well as consultation with big businesses that the university works with in Yorkshire, particularly in the shipping industry.

CM education director Justin Shaw said: 'We will help Hull examine how it differs from other business schools and make sure these features are projected.'

The school is applying for business accreditation from the Association of MBAs. 'It wants to be a UK leader,' added Shaw.

- Coventry University Enterprises - the commercial arm of Coventry University - has hired CM to raise its profile nationally and locally. It helps start-up businesses by providing office space and advice.
