Stationery firm in 'writing' drive

Stationer John Dickinson, the UK's largest paper manufacturer, has drafted in icas PR to handle its first consumer campaign.

The agency will aim to raise the profile of its Black 'n' Red brand in consumer media by highlighting the different reasons people use notebooks, such as for journals or songwriting.

A further campaign will promote Basildon Bond stationery. It will centre around occasions when people are thought to want to write and receive letters, such as children's notes to Santa at Christmas.

Icas won the account in a three-way pitch.
