Media Relations: Great Eastern in beach promotion

The Great Eastern Hotel is to step up promotion of its 'indoor beach' by targeting global arts and listings media.

The beach is hosting regular sporting, music and drink-tasting events from the end of July and will be used to position the City of London hotel as more than just a place to stay the night. Great Eastern is looking for a brand partner for the summer initiative.

The proactive campaign follows the appointment last December of former Jackie Cooper PR account manager Simon Warrington to the new position of PR manager.
