Media Relations: BBC hunts firms for advice show

Companies are being offered the chance to star in the BBC's latest business advice programme, with PR agencies among those targeted.

The eight-part series, in the mould of BBC2's I'll Show Them Who's Boss, will advise on operational and internal comms issues to eight companies from a range of industries. It goes into production from May.

Programme researcher Kate Murray said participating firms should 'expect some confrontational moments', but added that they would benefit from the experts' counsel.

While the BBC retains editorial control, Murray said it would 'seek to make films collaboratively' with 'the very active participation of the company managing director at every stage'.
