Public Sector: Leicestershire Council teams with Central

LEICESTERSHIRE: Leicestershire County Council has teamed up with Central Television to produce a 30-second film on foster carers. The film is being shown in local cinemas as part of an ongoing campaign to stem the shortage of foster carers in the county. The council is responsible for around 340 children, the majority of whom are in foster care. Every year about 26 children are adopted and there are usually another 55 who are seeking adoption at any one time.
